Stephanie Brault
Admitted to practice in 2013, Stephanie Brault is an associate attorney with the Firm. Ms. Brault graduated from the University of California, Santa Barbara with a Bachelors of Arts in Political Science, magna cum laude, and earned her Juris Doctor degree, cum laude, from Chapman University School of Law. While at Chapman Law, Ms Brault served as the Senior Notes and Comments Editor for the Nexis Journal of Law and Policy and has authored scholarly articles related to foreign and domestic legislative policies. Ms. Brault also served on the Executive Boards for the Chapman Appellate Moot Court Team and the Public Interest Law Society; she was also chosen as a student ambassador to represent the law school. Ms. Brault earned CALI awards for achieving the highest class grades in Criminal Procedure, Remedies and Trial Practice and graduated from Chapman Law in the top 9% of her class.
Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Brault’s practice focused primarily on business litigation where she represented clients on a diverse range of matters including: general business disputes, breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duty and misclassification. She places particular emphasis on pre-trial motion practice and litigates with an eye toward accomplishing a swift and efficient resolution of disputes.
Ms. Brault has spent a significant time engaged in pro-bono activities, including working with both the Legal Aid Society of Orange County and Community Lawyers, Inc. Ms. Brault previously worked at a law firm in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and is an avid world-traveler. Her interests include hiking, camping and cooking.
